Snow Days

Well, as you know it has been snowing like crazy since Friday! On Friday in the morning it was sleeting. So my sister, Claire, her friend, Michelle and I were stupid and played in the sleet! It got in my eyes and it really hurt! That night I asked my mom if  Jordan (my BFF) could spend the night. So when she got there we played the game we invented (you put four throw pillows on the ground by a couch. One person is the tagger the other one is the runner. The runner jumps off the couch and onto a pillow. When the tagger gets the runner you switch and so on). Then when it was time to go to bed we got on my bed and watched "Treehouse Masters". The next day when we first got up we looked for my Elf on The Shelf. Then for breakfast I had a pancake and some sausage, and Jordan had two pieces of sausage (she doesn't eat a lot). Next we went outside we tried to build a snowman, but the snow wasn't the best for it! Then Claire and Michelle came over from Michelle's house. We played in the backyard for a while, then we went to Michelle's pond (It is very close to our backyard). The pond was partly frozen, so Claire, Jordan, and Michelle walked on the edge of the pond (I was scared I was going to fall). When they were done walking on the pond, we all hit the edge of the pond with our feet. Well of course Claire, my clumsy sister cracks the pond and almost falls in. So when she is standing in the snow, I pin her down and tell her not to do that again! And of course-she does and falls in again! Then we had hot chocolate! Snow days are so much fun!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

I know it's a little early to say that, but I am going to be a busy bee that day. I will be helping Gran make Thanksgiving dinner. My cousins won't be there Thanksgiving day. Every day on Thanksgiving we chase Conrad in the attic. One year Rondoudou took his shoes and hid them in the bathroom. She also threatened to do tae kwon do him (tae kwon do is sort of like karate). Eagna tells Rondoudou that she will the her teacher. It will be boring and quiet without Eagna, Rondoudou and Billy. BILLY IS THE CUTEST LITTLE BOY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!! He is four years old and has blonde curly hair. I wish they lived closer!

Jordan ( BFF!! )

Jordan is my best friend! I've known her since kindergarten. But she knew me when she was in Pre-K because her little brother had a crush on me! He went home everyday and talked about me. But when we met we were in kindergarten and we sat next to each other. One day Jordan's mom sent a note to my mom that said "would Emma like to come to Jordan's house?" So I went to her house and we had so much fun!!!! But this year we carved buckeyes (buckeyes grow on trees). Jordan carved them, they said BFF and we said that we would keep them forever. One day I got a text from her and it said that she had sold her house. I was really sad because she might move far away from Metropolis. But she will always be my best friend far or near. I've been through a lot with her, like drama (long story). No one can be a better best friend than Jordan.

Rend Lake

So last weekend I went to a family reunion. It was at Rend Lake. We went tubing, and a fish flew into the tube. But it wasn't the first time. Another fish flew in before. Both times the slapped my other cousin, Rose in the face. It was really funny!! The first time the fish flew in the tube, Rose had to take it out because no one else would. Her sister Dyl loves animals, even she wouldn't touch it. The second time the fish flew in none of us would touch that time, so a boy younger than all of us had to pick it up and throw it back in the water! I love Rend Lake!! <3

SNOW!!!!

SNOW PEOPLE!!!!

This is my cousins and I! We are playing in the snow with our uncle at Gran's house.We went sledding at the levee. At first Billy was struggling  to get up the hill. But then he just started to ride on the sled when they brought it up. It was so cold! Everybody's noses were red and our hands were frozen, and our eyes hurt. When we got back to the house we all took our snow clothes off and took showers, and had hot cocoa and s'mores  in the fireplace. This was all during Christmas so on Christmas day my cousin Rondoudou got a binding machine. It is a machine that makes books. So all the grandkids made a book for Gran. The book was called "All of us Daffodils" and she loved it!!

Fruity Pebble Treats

1. Get Fruity Pebbles, marshmallows, and butter.
2. Put butter and marshmallows in a pan on a stove.
3. Stir until all marshmallows are melted.
4. Take the pan off of the stove.
5. Stir Fruity Pebbles into melted marshmallows and butter.
6. Spread on a pan or plate with waxed paper smeared with butter.
7. Put a cookie cutter in the middle of it for decoration.
8. Let it cool.
9. ENJOY!!!!

Whipped Cream Strawberry Sandwich

1. Get strawberries and wash them/get whipped cream
2. Cut top off/ save the top
3. Core the middle
4. Spray the whipped cream in the strawberries
5. Put the top back on and it will look like a sandwich/ have a little whipped cream on top
6. ENJOY!!!!!!

I love seeing me cousins!!!!! They are Eagna , Rondoudou, and Billy. Eagna is the oldest then Rondoudou and then Billy. My sister Claire is the oldest out of all of us. I am right in the middle I'm the third one out of the cousins. So it's Claire, Eagna , me , Rondoudou , and then last but not least Billy!

Whisk

If you live in St. Louis or visit there, on 2201 Cherokee Street there is a bakery called Whisk. They have the best pastries , and they have popcicles , too. They are really good !!!!
